My Favorite Mistake
"I told you so." That's what you usually hear when you stumble and fall for something that you were warned before. You saw it coming, but cannot hold back the excitement you feel for something that is so totally foreign. Is there a mistake in your life that is so likable you'd want to do the same mistake all over again, because if not for that particular mistake you are not what you are right now...?
One last time I caught myself with a smile
Remembering in a flash the things that has passed
There's no denying that you're my favorite mistake
'Coz my deepest thoughts, to you it always go back
Of all the things that had me falling down
It was with you that made me the talk of town
But after all the anger and pain that I've felt
Nothing's ever changed this crazy feeling yet
You are my favorite mistake, that is a fact
Even if the world will turn back to sometime
I would never hesitate to follow the path
Where I had met you to be exact
A second chance is never too far
Even though the risk is high, I might give it another try
Even if the stakes are rising, I might just set it aside
For after all, you're my favorite mistake of all times...

Unexpected Friend
Have you ever found friendship in somebody whom you do not expect? I have. In a situation where looking back at it now is funny, i have discovered a friend most unexpectedly. Life is indeed full of surprises...
Friendship can be found in most unexpected places
And can happen to anyone in the most uneasy circumstances
Most of the time is comes as a surprise
To people who have never expected it otherwise
Friends don't need to have the same likes
Nor share the same talents, experiences and dislikes
We don't need to have common interests to bind us together
There is a special bond that is endless and forever
Friends don't need to be on the same ground
To know that eachother they have found
We only need to talk and laugh out loud like an endless stream
And encourage to reach each one's hopes and dreams
Wherever you may wish to go and whatever you do
Good friends we shall always be
No matter where your dreams may take you and how far you go
My thoughts and prayers will always be with you
A lifetime of blessings for you await
And maybe someday another friend you may meet
Always remember and never forget
Our friendship I will treasure so great

A Step Ahead With You
Every girl dreams of walking on the isle wearing a dress flashing so white on a clear day surrounded with flowers and music playing through the air. There is nothing like dreaming of being a bride to cause our minds to think of endless possibilities and make our heartbeat race faster with excitement. This Poem Bug have written this poem dreaming of that special day...
And though before I have my qualms
This a big step I’m bravely taking with you
Though they say it’s the longest sentence one submits to
Our hearts are bound when we say “I do.”
I saw you standing up ahead
Watching me approaching you
Oblivious to everything surrounding us
Wish we could just run away and take a bus
I saw you give a warm smile
Silently asking “What took you so long?”
And I could not hide my happiness
For the wait is over, God has answered my prayers
Today I took the time to dress
Something borrowed and something owned
Something new and old with flowing lace
And in my heart and mind engraved the vows I will profess
You reached out for my hand
As warm as your eyes gazing upon mine
We are taking the journey as we have planned
We strive to be resilient, in life’s challenges we shall stand
Seeing through the lace covering my face
Your love radiates it overwhelms me
My hand you keep holding and cannot withdraw
Silently saying, “We’re taking a step ahead, me and you.”

Wish List
There are some things that probably have made their way into your own wish list. It could be a place that you have wanted to go to, a job that you have set your mind to, a person you've been dying to meet or just something that you wished you have owned. Sometimes we set the time to achieve them but for some, they don't, just like me. Looking at it now, there are some things on my list that i had to let go and some i've deferred for fate to decide.
Holding a paper I’ve taken time to make colorful
With stickers, glitters just to make beautiful
Now I see the edges that has spent the years
Keeping the list that before gave me cheers
My wish list I have kept so close and dear
In a paper adorned, written with pen so clear
The wishes I have whispered just before at night I sleep
Dreaming one day what’s written I would reap
A number of years has flown and gone
And now I hold the wish list as I sat alone
Awed by how one’s wishes could change
How the things I’ve craved before, now seems strange

One New Day
A poem i made as the rain came pouring on one sunny day. . It came to my thought that life is not really fair. That no matter how good we do, how happy and content we feel there will always be failures, fights, tears, poor, hunger, conflicts even wars. But as the rain stops, as the new day begins it comes along with it a hope that maybe today is the day when somethings are made better and things that we've hoped for come true; and then finally say "ah, today is a perfect day." .... just my thoughts, bugs
Today is a new day
Yesterday has gone so fast it was impossible for it to stay
And tomorrow is not until what happened today has washed away,
Leaving only the memories that we cannot throw away
Today the sun is bright
And all is happy with its light
The flowers, the trees the fishes in the seas
Even the wind is ecstatic you could feel through the breeze
Today is but a dot in our life
We can tuck away even our own strife
For this day is another way to start
From our wrongful ways we can try to depart
Today I wish the rain would not come
So we could enjoy just this day outside the sun
Do things i've missed, swim for fun, get a tan
Or ride the bike in the afternoon till sundown
But just in case today rain would come
Washing the roads, on the rooftops pouring down
To fill up the oceans, to water the trees or aid flowers to bloom
It only cleanses the earth before another day resumes
Never fear when the day ends at night
Because it is the magic from which there is life
When all else is in dark, a part of the world has light
And when the new day comes, we bask in its warmth as the sun shines bright
Today is a new day
